My Wife's Grandfather, Charles Harl

Some say that an artist has a gift in doing what he or she does. I'm inclined to think being an artist means you can give someone a meaningful gift. This is a rendering of my mother-in-law's late father (and my wife, Debbie's grandfather), Charles Harl, and was given to her as a birthday gift in September 2007. The inset is the reference the piece was based on.  Graphite on Bristol Board. "9 X 13".
